CMIA hold talks with State govt to resolve problems of MSMEs

 New Delhi, August 9 (KNN) Taking forward the plea of the MSME units located in Shendra MIDC region of Aurangabad, the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) recently organized a meeting between the entrepreneurs and state government officials.  

The prime focus of the meeting was to chalk out the various concerns of the industries in the Shendra MIDC region.

Several problems surrounding the sector were discussed including shortage of land in the industrial park, lack of water supply and drainage issues.

The entrepreneurs also listed the problem they face in getting various clearances for setting up bore well facility to procure water.

Also the fire cess in the region is being charged 9 times high as compared to other regions of the state, the Chamber observed.

Labour related issues including lack of proper ESIC dispensary facility, unavailability of emergency services were raised during the meeting.

Responding to the concerns, Haribhau Bagade, Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly asked the Chamber to frame a memorandum and assured that he will take it forward with the industries department. (KNN Bureau)
