Description

Lee's and Chartton Apparatus For determinig the relative conductivity of thin layers of material , consists of cylindrical slab of 11.5cm in dia and 12mm thick , a 5cm deep hollow cylinder of the same dia with inlet and outlet tubes for steam rests on this slab , both have radial holes for thermometer. The brass slab is suspended from a ring through three strings and the whole assembly is supported on a heavy cast iron stand, supplied without thermometer.
