Description

The String Combiner Box combines multiple DC inputs coming from panel termination and converts them into one DC output. It provides additional protection with input fuses and surge protection devices. Operation and maintenance is made easier using DC switches. These solutions are customizable. The Solar PV String Combiner & Monitoring Box is one of the most critical components in a solar plant — it is the first junction point where multiple strings from PV modules are collated to give a single output to the inverters. It is fully customizable from 1 input to 32 inputs and can be designed at voltage levels of 600 VDC, 1000 VDC, and 1500 VDC. A String Monitoring Box is an intelligent combiner box that allows monitoring of each string individually — including string current, voltage, SPD status, DC switch status, and internal temperature. Sertel Combiners can accommodate up to 36 input circuits at 600 VDC, 1000 VDC, or 1500 VDC. All Sertel Combiner Boxes are listed to EN 61439-2:2011.
