Ranchi, Dec 14, (KNN) The government of Jharkhand is keen to develop the textile sector by ensuring steady supply of raw material and improving its infrastructure.
In this regard, the Jharkhand Silk, Textile and Handicraft Development Corporation Limited (Jharcraft) has invited bids for the proposed project.
It is seeking partnership from manufacturers, dealers and suppliers of raw material for leather, dhokra, cane, paper and shoe products.
Jharcraft promotes the tasar-culture, handlooms and handicrafts in an effort to revive and preserve the culture of the state.
It has a mission to change lives through creation of new opportunities that would effectively, efficiently and positively affect the lives of a large number of people across the state.
