MUMBAI: BPO major WNS on Wednesday said it has appointed Sanjay Puria as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Puria, currently Corporate Senior Vice President (Finance) at the NYSE-listed company, will assume the CFO role on a permanent basis with immediate effect, WNS said in a statement here. He brings over 15 years of experience to the position, including over 10 years in the offshore services industry, it added.
Puria replaces Deepak Sogani, who has stepped down from his position for personal reasons. He had joined WNS in December last year.
During his three years at WNS, Puria has managed several key finance functions, including Corporate Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, Financial Planning and Analysis and Strategic Business Development, the statement said.
"Sanjay is a proven performer and the company believes he is the right choice to lead the finance function and help continue to move WNS forward," the Chief Executive OfficerKeshav Murugesh said.
