1. The Government of Nepal has applied for financing from IDA World Bank towards the cost of the project for Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under this Contract. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures (Model Bidding Document as per Electronic Government Procurement issued by PPMO and approved by the World Bank). This is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents. A margin of preference shall not apply.
2. Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Livestock Service Centers. The construction period is 11 months for each project. Other details are as follows:

1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours or may visit E-procurement section of PPMO’s Web Site http://www.bolpatra.gov.np.
2. Electronic bids must be submitted to the Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project, through PPMO website www.bolpatra.gov.np on or before 12:00 hrs of 27 June 2019. Late bids will be rejected and not opened. The bids will be opened electronically at 12:30 hrs on 27 June 2019 in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project, Hariharbhawan, Lalitpur.
3. If the last date of pre-bid meeting, purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the same time on next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
