The Oriental Chemical Works (P) Ltd. was established in 1930 in Kolkata. The Company in 1962 was the first to introduce ARDROX range of Liquid Dye Penetrant Inspection materials and Specialty Cleaners in India essentially for the Aerospace and Heavy Engineering Industry. In 1972 the Company started indigenous production of the ORION range of liquid dye penetrants, magnetic particles and specialty cleaners in India for a wider application in the Indian industries. Today, ORION Non-destructive products match in quality in equal terms with international brands and are reliable and very cost effective with excellent technical support.
The Production facilities are located in three units in Kolkata and Howrah and includes more than 90,000 sq. ft of manufacturing, analytical, research & development and warehousing facilities. The Production related activities include modern plant & equipment supported by the analytical and quality control laboratory with the latest testing equipment to ensure complete compliance to quality and specifications. The Company’s production and quality control management system is certified to ISO 9001-2008.
