Bucky Ball Model PSAW A bucky ball is a molecule containing 60 carbon atoms. Here each carbon atom is bound to three adjacent carbon atoms forming a sphere, which is around 1.0mm in diameter. The bonds between atoms form a pattern of joined hexagons and pentagons that is similar to the panels on a soccer ball. It is also called fullerenes model.
