Pressure and Vacuum Relief Valves have been designed for atmospheric and low Pressure Storage Tanks Containing volatile products to maintain the tank Pressure and Vacuum with in pre-determined, thus prevent the tanks from any disaster like explosion due to increase of Tank Pressure and implosion due to decrease in Vacuum during thermal cycling or while filling or emptying the storage tanks. PV Valves assists to conserve the fluid by reducing the evaporation loss and provide clean environment. PII PV Valve does not allow the vapour to go out until the tanks pressure reaches the preset pressure. As soon as tank pressure increases above the pre-set pressure the pressure pallet will lift up and release the excess pressure. If vacuum inside the tank goes down to the preset vacuum, the atmospheric air lifts the vacuum pallet and enters in to the tank, thus release the vacuum. PII PV Valve should be selected in accordance with API 2000 Standards or other applicable standards. PII / PV Valves of different sizes have been successfully tested and certified as per API- 2000 S for flow capacity by the competent Authority/Institute of India.
