Azotobactor chrocoocum is free living Nitrogen fixing aerobic bacterium. It fixes atmospheric Nitrogen non-symbiotically and helps to make it available to plants along with production of antifungal substances which inhibits the growth of harmful fungi and also results in lowering the disease occurrences.
