quick release coupling is a mechanical device used in fluid lines for frequent connection and disconnection without use of any tools. QRC- VV series is a double shut off type quick coupling. A poppet valve is present in both halves of coupling. When female half of the coupling or socket is connected with the male half or adaptor of the coupling, poppet valve is pressed and opens up the flow passage. this also activates a locking mechanism of the sleeve in socket. a leak tight joint is obtained. quick coupling comes in different sizes from 1/4" up to 2".
