Aparajita Sarangi transferred

BHUBANESWAR: The state government on Friday transferred secretary, panchayati raj, Aparajita Sarangi as secretary, textiles and handloom, less than nine months after she took up the responsibility. Deo Ranjan Kumar Singh, who was serving as secretary, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME), would replace Sarangi, a government notification said.

Sarangi has also been given charge of special secretary, administrative reforms cell. During the past 14 months she has been given three new postings.

The government also elevated special secretary, MSME, Panchanan Dash, as secretary of the department, succeeding Singh. Similarly, Siba Prasad Mishra would take over as secretary, parliamentary affairs, with additional charge of secretary, Orissa State Housing Board, while commissioner, settlement and consolidation, Alekh Padhiari, has been posted as secretary, personnel grievances and 
pension administration.
