Bharti Airtel Q4 net profit seen at Rs 736 crore

MUMBAI: Bharti Airtel, the country's largest telecom company by revenue and customers, will be announcing its quarterly results tomorrow. According to an ET Now poll, the company is likely to report a net profit of Rs 736 crore for the quarter ended March 2013, compared to a net profit of Rs 284 crore in the previous quarter.

Revenues for the Jan-March quarter are seen at Rs 20,844 crore, up 2.98 per cent, compared to Rs 20,239 crore in the last quarter.

EBIDTA is seen at Rs 6,430 crore, up 3.82 per cent, as against Rs 6,193.13 crore, quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and EBIDTA margins are seen at 30.8 per cent vs 30.6 per cent, QoQ.

Analysts are expecting Bharti Airtel to report subscriber addition of 6 million, volume growth of 3 per cent in domestic total wireless minutes. Revenue growth from Indian mobile business is likely to be 3 per cent QoQ and from African business it is seen at 1 per cent, QoQ. Margins are likely to improve by 50 bps due improvement in both India & Africa margins.

ARPU is likely to be at Rs 191 vs Rs 185, MoUs are seen at 446 min vs 435 min and RPMs are likely to be at 42.8p vs 42.6p.

The company is expected to report a forex loss of Rs 50 crore compared to Rs 247.5 crore in the third quarter.

The stock ended at Rs 318.75, up 0.20 per cent, on the BSE on Tuesday. It touched a high of Rs 323.70 and a low of Rs 314 in trade yesterday.
