Cloud computing training for Rs 60,000 from Govt institute

New Delhi, Jun 9 (KNN)  The MSME Technology Development Centre that comes under the purview of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is charging a whopping Rs 60,000 for a 12 day weekend course for entrepreneurs on cloud computing.
 
The course titled ‘Cloud Computing Experts’ will be held from June-21 to July 27 at Noida.
 
According to an official notice the contents of the course would include Cloud Associate-Fundamentals; Linux Basics; Cloud specialist-how to design a cloud; Virtualization Expert-Citrix, Microsoft Hyper VMWare ESxi; Open Stack training-cloud management software; public cloud-computer laboratory experience; Amazon web services, HP cloud, Window Azure.
 
While the fee for general and OBC category is Rs 60,000, there will be 50 per cent SC/ST concession for PH and ex-servicemen.
 
MSME-Technology Development Centre was formerly the Process and Product Development Centre for technological up-gradation of small scale castings and forging industries set up at Agra in 1985 with the assistance of Government of India, Government of UP and UNDP/UNIDO.
 
The centre has four major divisions, namely, testing division; Product development division comprising of foundry, forge, heat treatment and machine shops; training; and consultancy.
