Dunkin Donuts India appoints new head of marketing

NEW DELHI: Jubilant FoodWorks LtdBSE -1.39 %, which operates Dominos Pizzachain and Dunkin' Donuts, today said it has appointed Prashant Sarwade as the head of marketing and new product development for the Dunkin' Donuts India Division. 

Prior to joining Jubilant Foodworks, Sarwade has worked in firms such as Cadbury India, Reliance Retail and 
Britannia Industries Ltd.BSE 0.73 % 

Announcing the new appointment, 
Dunkin Donuts India President & COO Dev Amritesh said: "Prashant has got the right set of skills and expertise to take the Dunkin' brand to next level in India. He will play an important role in growing the Dunkin' Donuts brand in India." 

Last month, Jubilant Foodworks had said it will open up to 100 Dunkin' Donuts outlets in the next four years to grow the brand in India. For Dunkin' Donuts, the company would start opening outlets in the Western region. At present, all of its outlets are concentrated in the North India. 

At present, there are 10 of Dunkin' Donuts outlets in the country.
