A K Purwaha, CMD, Engineers India Limited(EIL) presented a dividend cheque of Rs 81.27 crores as final dividend for the FY 2012-13 to M Veerappa Moily, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas on August 27, 2013.
This amount is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 81.27 crores paid to Govt of India in March, 2013. Thus the total dividend paid to Govt of India is Rs 162.54 crores.
The total dividend for the financial year 2012-13 amounts to Rs. 202.16 crores.
On this occasion, Vivek Rae, Secretary Petroleum, Rajive Kumar, Addl. Secretary, MoP&NG, Ram Singh, Director (Finance), D Moudgil, Director (Projects), Sanjay Gupta, Director(Commercial), Veena Swarup, Director (HR) and Rajan Kapur, Company Secretary, EIL were also present.
