Growing for the second straight month, India's exports grew by 4.25 percent in February to USD 26.2 billion over the USD 25.19 billion same month last year, the Ministry of Commerce & Industry said today.
In an official statement, Commerce Secretary, S.R. Rao Monday said, "Europe is performing better, there is a slight improvement in demand".
Exporting sectors which performed well include engineering goods, textiles, rice, oil meals, pharmaceutical and chemicals.
Imports also rose by 2.6 per cent to USD 41
