With nearly 20 lakh Udyam-registered MSMEs, Rajasthan boasts of having the country’s fourth-largest base of formal units. In Rajasthan, India’s pink city Jaipur has the highest concentration of such MSME units with close to 4 lakh registered businesses. That’s a considerable number to boost the economy of a tier II city basis multiple factors. And digital technology happens to be a key differentiator here. 

Even as digital maturity for MSMEs has scaled beyond an office email, website and social media to some extent, these emerging enterprises still have a long road ahead to ace digital transformation. 

To enable such MSMEs in Jaipur for quicker and more effective adoption of digital tools, the FE Emerging Business Growth Workshops – a multi-city initiative by FE Aspire – is back with its second workshop in the city with the theme “Digital Transformation for Your Business”.

The workshop will begin with a keynote address titled Win with Conversations Using WhatsApp by Rohant Shyam Rammohan, business messaging lead for WhatsApp, India.  

The keynote will give an overview of how WhatsApp for Business App can help MSMEs overhaul their customer relations for a long-term connection and superior brand loyalty. It will also touch upon how enterprises can add value to customers’ trust and assure them of timely responses to their queries that can help businesses attract more customers, improve sales and overall evolve into a better customer-focused organisation. 

Following the keynote would be an interesting panel discussion on “Tech Financing: Enabling Credit Access for MSMEs in Industry 4.0” to drive conversations around the availability of capital to boost technology adoption in business.

The speakers for the panel would be Ajay Data, Founder Member, TiE Rajasthan and MD, Data Group of Industries; Deepak Kumar Ray, AGM, SIDBI; Tushar Sogani, Chair, ASSOCHAM Rajasthan State Development Council; and Ujjwal Kumar, Associate Director, CUTS International. 

The workshop will next have a masterclass on how to “Grow Your Business and Customer Outreach with WhatsApp” by Priyash Nigam, Lead Trainer, Digital Vidya — a digital marketing training company and the official training partner for Facebook India. 

The masterclass will help MSMEs understand the WhatsApp Business App and its benefits to grow their digital presence and have more meaningful interactions with their customers.
