BANGALORE:Former Tech Mahindra CFOSonjoyAnand is set to join the Dubai-headquartered Al Tayer Group, a privately-held, diversified company with operations in 12 countries.
People close to him said he was joining the company as group CFO and would soon be re-locating to Dubai. Anand himself could not be reached for comment. Tech Mahindra, the country's sixth largest software exporter, is the third prominent Indian software firm to see a CFO change in recent years. BothInfosysBSE 0.64 % and Tata Consultancy ServicesBSE -0.27 % have also seen new CFOs take over.
Anand has been with Tech MahindraBSE 0.48 % for a decade. He is being replaced by a CFO, Milind Kulkarni, and a deputy CFO, Manoj Bhat. Tech Mahindra is set to merge with Mahindra SatyamBSE 0.45 %, the company it acquired in 2009, to create a $ 2.4 billion entity. Anand is the second senior executive to leave the firm after CEO Sanjay Kalra quit in 2010.
