JAIPUR: The Mining Engineering Association of India (MEAI) hasfelicitedAkhileshJoshi, CEO of HindustanZinc Ltd with MEAI-AdherajBaldota MemorialGold Medal Award-2012.
MEAI President S K Saragni presented the award to Joshi on June 23 at a function in Hyderabad, Hindustan ZincBSE 3.09 % said in a release today.
He was lauded for his efforts and hardwork for making HZL the world's largest integrated zinc producing company through systematic exploration, increased production and met highest standards of mine safety, it added.
