New Delhi, Nov 1 (KNN) Eying at empowering Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the region, the Rajasthan State government is organizing an MSME B2B and B2C exhibition, India Industrial Fair (IIF) from January 5th to 8th, 2018 at JECC (Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre).
The main aim of the fair is to extend opportunities to young entrepreneurs and MSMEs to showcase their products at global scale.
Subodh Agarwal, Principal Secretary – MSME in a press interview said that the focus of the fair would be on eight areas namely Textiles & Home Décor, Furniture, Shilp Gram & Handicraft, Agriculture & food processing, Engineering & Mining, Energy & electronics, Plastic, Rubber & Packaging, Building & Hardware.
He further said that the fair would provide opportunities to businessmen in MSME sector to share new technology, encourage startups and exports and would also provide common platforms between producers and consumers.
The Principal Secretary also said that the role of MSMEs in the economic development will be highlighted through this fair.
The state government has approached other states and public sector undertakings for participation. MSMEs from all over the country will set up over 800 stalls in the fair. (KNN/AG)
