New Delhi, 1 July (KNN) In a recently held elections for the new council of management of Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) for the year 2019-20, R. Raju has been elected as the President of KASSIA.
Elections to the new Council of Management and General Body of the KASSIA were held on June 30 and July 1, 2019.
Born in the year 1959, R. Raju has completed his education in Bangalore acquiring a Bachelor of Science degree and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
He is the founder of Ven-Gree Metal Punch Pvt. Ltd., and R.S. Machine Tool Services, which has grown from a small beginning into a considerable enterprise. He has a thorough knowledge of the problems of industry and trade.
He has a keen interest, zeal, knowledge, and experience with positive energy to serve KASSIA and the MSME fraternity.
His long association with KASSIA and experience gained by working with all the Past Presidents in various posts have enriched his understanding of the sector.
He has been President of Rajajinagar Industries Association, Member of Rotary Club and Managing Committee Member in Rajajinagar Parents Educational Institutions and was the Vice President of KASSIA in 2018-19.
