NEW DELHI: Lanco Infratech today said it has bagged orders worth Rs 3,293.9 crore from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited for civil works as well off-shore and on-shore supplies among others.
"The company's EPC ((Engineering, Procurement and Construction) Division has been awarded the prestigious EPC contracts by Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited for their 2 x 300 MW Lignite based Thermal Power Project,"Lanco Infratech LtdBSE 6.39 % said in a statement.
The scope of work includes off-shore supplies, on-shore supplies, civil and structuring works and on-shore services contract on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis, the statement added.
"The value of the contracts is Rs 3293.96 crore," it said.
Lanco Infratech had reported a loss of Rs 31.6 crore for the January-March quarter, 2013.
Currently, Lanco has an operational capacity of nearly 4,000 MW and another 4,000 MW is under construction.
The shares of the company closed at Rs 8.76 a piece, down 6.11 per cent from the previous close.
