Mumbai, May 28 (KNN) Giving rich dividends to investors , the market capitalisation of the companies listed on the BSE- SME platformE today crossed the crucial Rs 7,000 crore mark in sync with the underlying firm trend of the capital market riding on the change of the government at the Centre.
Out of the 58 companies listed on the platform, 28 firms actively traded today. The market cap of BSE SME ended at Rs 7,055.93 crore as the market closed, with 20 advances and 8 declines.
Two more firms, Vishal Fabrics Limited and Bansal Roofing Products Limited have filed their DRHP document to get listed on the platform.
Also, effective from tomorrow, the equity shares of Aurangabad based Dekson Castings Limited will be listed and admitted to dealings on the SME Institutional Trading Platform of Exchange (SME-ITP) in the list of IP Group of Securities.
BSE SME Platform offers an entrepreneur an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector.
BSE commenced the SME platform on March 2012 and in over two- year period, BSE has achieved more than 90 per cent market share helping Indian SMEs create a market capitalisation of more than USD 1 billion. Average IPO size on BSE SME is close to Rs 9 crore per issue.
