The SIDBI MSME Conclave will start from Indore on January 9, 2024. It aims to catalyse the next wave of growth opportunities, foster knowledge exchange, enable networking and help to tackle challenges, for sustainable growth in Indian MSMEs.
The country is home to more than 63 million MSMEs working in various sectors — manufacturing, textiles, services, pharma … the list goes on. The sector contributes 40% to India’s exports and over 30% to the country’s GDP. The MSME sector is one of the largest employment generators in the country. These facts make the MSME segment extremely important.
It is, therefore, fitting that SIDBI — a financial institution for MSMEs — conduct a series that will encourage MSMEs to thrive and become globally competitive. The SIDBI MSME Conclave-Empowering MSMEs: Forging a Resilient Future does just that.
Indore, which is sometimes also referred to as the economic capital of the central region of India, is home to many flourishing small businesses and exporters.
