New Delhi, Dec 3 (KNN) In a bid to help MSMEs explore new marketing avenues, the MSME-Development Institute along with Engineers India Limited (EIL) is organizing a national level vendor development programme cum industrial exhibition.
The MSME Expo will be organized from December 12-13 here.
“The National Vendor Development Programme will provide an opportunity to MSE’s in the various technical fields to expand market base and explore new marketing avenues in CPSU’s, government departments and large scale units,” MSME-DI said in a notification.
In this context, the MSME-DI has called for entrepreneurs to book their stalls and participate in MSME Expo-2013 on first come, first served basis.
There will be also be an interaction meet of MSEs with CPSUs/ government departments in which public procurement policy, vendor registration and other requirements of CPSUs will be discussed.
According to the public procurement policy, every Central Ministry/Department/PSU shall set procurement goal of minimum 20 per cent of the total annual purchases of the products or services produced or rendered by MSEs.
