New Delhi, Nov 29 :The Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME) is organising a national expo cum vendor development programme from December 19 to 22, 2014 in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
Micro, small, medium and large scale units, public sector undertakings, government departments, and financial service providers will showcase their products and services at the national exhibition.
Other than services from financial institutions, and insurance services, the display would include products such as automobiles, computer, IT/telecom, footwear, furniture, handloom, replica handbags, electronic goods, visual audio, interior designing, art and craft, food products, health equipment, sports items, educational institutes, tour and travel, cosmetics, fashion accessories, garments, home appliances and household products.
The four day event will also feature a seminar on Public Procurement Policy 2012, IPR, vendors-vendee meet, government purchase programmes and DC MSME Scheme (NMCP).
Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME) provides economic information services and advises government in policy formulation for the promotion and development of small scale industries. Having recognised the changed environment, it is currently focusing on providing support in the fields of credit, marketing, technology and infrastructure to MSMEs.
