NEW DELHI: Nestle on Wednesday said its outlook for the next quarter remained cautious given the uncertainty in the environment, but added it was confident of sustainable and profitable growth over the next three-four quarters. The maker of Maggi noodles and Nescafe coffee said its net profit went up 20.8% to 278.93 crore for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2012, riding on domestic growth and exports. Net sales were up 2,152.6 crore for the fourth quarter, the company said.
"We anticipated the challenges and we started the year 2012 with caution by taking challenges head-on, “Nestle BSE 0.22 % Chairman and Managing Director A Helio Waszyk said in a statement.
