NTPCBSE 0.90 % signed three Loan agreements aggregating to Rs 1870 crore with Punjab and Sindh Bank (Rs 570 crore), Andhra BankBSE 0.35 % (Rs 300 crore) and Canara BankBSE -0.16 % (Rs 1000 crore) recently.
The loans have been extended at the respective base rates of the bank, which is the bare minimum rate at which a bank can lend. These loans have door to door tenure of 15 years and will be utilized to part financethe capital expenditure of NTPC.
