With an aim to encourage innovation in the manufacturing sector, Power2SME has announced the season 6 of the Spirit of Manufacturing awards in collaboration with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Delhi-NCR.
The award ceremony, which will be held on November 14 in New Delhi, on the side-lines of TiE Global Summit 2019, will recognize ingenious startup ideas in the manufacturing space.

The Spirit of Manufacturing Awards has come a long way since 2014. While in their first year it attracted a little over 100 entries, by Season 5, it was more than 900 and this year they have had over 1200 entries.
Power2SME in partnership with TiE Delhi-NCR created a platform exclusively to showcase the innovations that Indian entrepreneurs have to offer, and applaud their genius. The Spirit of Manufacturing Awards are committed to provide a promising platform to the movement that makes ‘Make in India’ a success and provide guidance and mentorship to these entrepreneurs," says R Narayan, Founder and CEO, Power2SME said.

Spirit of Manufacturing awards
These awards are dedicated to applauding innovative entrepreneurs in the manufacturing industry. They're designed to re-iterate the importance of the manufacturing sector and will help create visibility for the manufacturing industry and in turn, encourage further innovation. The need to encourage entrepreneurs is greater than ever before. Their aim is to provide impetus to the industry and encourage digitization.
The awards have seen innovation displayed by entrepreneurs as young as 18-19 and from tier 2, tier 3 cities. While the initial years had witnessed hybrid mushroom farming, concrete substitutes for bricks, successive seasons entries have ranged from vegan ice creams and drones for healthcare. Spirit of Manufacturing has recognized work on smart water purification solutions for communities, unmanned aerial systems, automated medical marvels in the past.
