MUMBAI: Tata BlueScope Steel today said it has appointed Riten Choudhury asManaging Director with effect from September 1.
Prior to this appointment, Choudhury was Vice-President (building products business) at Tata BlueScope, an equal joint venture between Tata SteelBSE 1.51 % and BlueScope Steel of Australia, a company statement said here.
The firm, a player in the field of coated steel, steel building solutions and related products, operates in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation ( SAARC) region.
It manufactures and supplies metallic coated and pre- painted steel for the building and construction industry from its facility at Jamshedpur, the relese added.
