San Francisco—Salesforce.com Inc. has acquired French content integration company EntropySoft. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
EntropySoft technology allows the interconnection of different enterprise content management systems. Its Connector Hub supports access and work on documents and email content stored in different repositories, including Microsoft Corp.'s SharePoint. The company works with such clients as EMC Corp., IBM Corp. and Symantec Corp.
The acquisition is expected to support Salesforce's new Chatterbox product, which enables users to manage and share files.
