Tecpro Systems bags Rs 227 cr order from Mahanadi Coalfields

NEW DELHI: Tecpro Systems, an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm, today said it has bagged a Rs 227 crore order from Mahanadi Coalfields (MCL) in a consortium with Gammon India and Tecpro Engineers Ltd. 

"Its consortium with Tecpro Engineers Ltd and 
Gammon India LtdBSE 0.80 % has received a letter of intent for an order worth Rs 227 crore from Mahanadi Coalfields, a subsidiary of Coal India, for the supply of coal handling plant with SILO loading arrangement at Lingaraj OCP, Lingaraj area of Talcher coalfields," the company said in a statement to the BSE. 

The scope of work includes planning, designing, engineering, construction, fabrication, supply, erection, commissioning and trail run of plant. 

"We are glad to have received this order from MCL. This project win is significant as there would be a number of similar projects in the near future due to the impetus of the government on the mining sector...," Tecpro Vice-Chairman and Managing Director 
Amul Gabrani said. 

Shares of the company closed today at Rs 65.50 apiece on the 
BSE, down 6.23 per cent from their previous close.
