Karnataka State Coir Development Corporation Limited is a Government of Karnataka Enterprises was established in the year 1985 with the main objective of developing coir based activity and also to promote coir industries in private sector by disseminating information on the opportunities available for coir products, both in domestic and international markets.  Coir activity is a labour intensive one providing employment opportunity mainly to the rural women of SC/ST section.
