MARATHON HEATER (INDIA) PVT. LTD. Is second manufacturing unit of Marathon Heater Inc. USA. Marathon Heater, Inc. began in 1996 with three employees and one product, cartridge heaters. Commitment to customer service and engineering brought rapid growth. In 2002, the company was selected by Inc. Magazine as one of the 500 fastest growing privately held companies in the United States. In 2007, Marathon Heater, Inc. (USA) combined forces with Tempsens Instruments, to form Marathon Heater (India) Pvt. Ltd. with a 50:50 percent partnership to manufacture high quality industrial heaters, such as Cartridge, Nozzle, Air, Silicon Rubber, Band, Coil and other heating elements for the overseas market. After the merger, Marathon grew to employ over 160 people in two locations – our 12,000 square foot manufacturing facility in India and 40,000 square foot headquarters in Texas. The major aim of the collaboration was to establish Marathon Heater INDIA in the eastern hemisphere and provide fast and economical solutions to all our customers.

Tempsens Instruments (I) Pvt. Ltd. is one of the largest solution providers for thermal engineering products, with world class manufacturing facilities in India, Germany and China. It's a part of Pyrotech Group which was established by four technocrats in 1976 at Udaipur, with the first product as Thermocouples and RTDs.
