STUDIO   PREDILECTION

Studio Predilection is a design initiative to encourage the women weavers of Nagaland to sustain their roots and preserve their unique weaving traditions. Our initiate, gives the women a platform to express their creativity and supports young weavers.

Our label, Woven Threads started with a single weaver in November 2014. Today, we are very proud that our weavers are located throughout Nagaland. The loin loom of our weavers gives them flexibility to weave from their homes and continue to practice vital seasonal farming activities.

We abide by the traditional ethos of fabric making that our forefathers have practiced through the ages. All of our products are hand woven and are also hand stitched. The fabric used is off the loom, with minimal or zero wastage. Three words that best describe our products are contemporary, minimal and stylish.

The weavers of Woven Threads are proud to create contemporary textiles with their infallible hands, and hope that their creations will spend more time in the lives of their customers, proving that the hard work behind them has been worthwhile. We love what we do, and we share our love with you.
