Business Details: More than 30years I have engaged myself for the development of our regional, decaying and linguistic crafts and trying to generate employment in the weaker section of these communities by incorporating new designs and market friendly concepts. In this regard I bagged the marketing and product development assistance from CBI, The Netherlands during 1996. Now, I have opened my own showroom at a strategic location of India, at "India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, UP" for the true projection of my creations in front of the global buyers and getting their appreciations for better promotion of our crafts. At least 40 artisan families are working with us round the year and getting a steady way of income towards their better livelihood. Now, I have engaged myself to set up a "Craft Design Bank & Gallery" here at Burdwan, West Bengal, beside our manufacturing unit and NS-2, thus buyer may come and work under close contact with my artisans wih my active cooperation and assistance.

"Glaxy Exports" is a propertership organization working last 30 years to fill the void between the market and the artisans in and around West Bengal and to erase the problem faced by this traditional groups. At first we planned to fulfil the basic needs of these artisan communities and revive the craft in the region which is increasing day by day and ultimately we proves to be a helping hand to reanimate the artisans group to practice the craft with a new diamention by clustering among each other for new developments. In this regard duting 1996-97 , 'Glaxy Exports' got the successful test marketing report and assistance from The CBI, The Netherlands.
Since, 1996, we have started to participate in "Handicrafts & Gift Fair", organized by 'Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts,New Delhi' which helped us to popularize this craft in thd global market. Aimed at meaningful exposure of 'Dokra art' ( Lost-wax ) in global village, in the year 2006, we have opened up a parmanent show room for promoting our regional crafts at a strategic location at India's most prestigious trade mart at "India Expo Mart, Greater Noida,U.P". Now, we have started to build up a "Craft Design Bank & Gallery" adjacent to our manufacturing unit and as it is very close to NH-2 and nearer to Kolkata Air Port ( 105 kms). This will be a well equiped new facility to help the buyers and business community to visit manufacturing unit with design bank to have a cursory look of the manufacturing process and reciprocity of customers' need.
We are proud that at least fourty artisan families could fend for themselves in this unit and we aspire to generate more employment and this is possible only with added infrastructure and expansion of ongoing activities.
