Muniyal Ayurveda was born with a vision to uphold the glory of Ancient Indian Wisdom. Muniyal Ayurveda took its inspiration from Late Dr. U. Krishna Muniyal, who practiced Ayurveda for more than 40 years and was the disciple of Pandith Taranath, a great Ayurveda scholar who had treated Mahatma Gandhi several times. Ancestors of Muniyal family have successfully treated patients with acute and chronic illness. This passion for Ayurveda has propagated through generations of Muniyal Family and has led us build centres of excellence in Ayurveda Education, Hospital, Research centre & Pharmaceutical unit which produces over 200 ayurvedic products. We believe we are strengthening the present and nurturing the future of Ayurveda through our endeavours.

HIGHLIGHTS of MUNIYAL AYURVEDA

• Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences IS running Undergraduate & Post-Graduate Courses in Ayurveda. Approved by Department of AYUSH, Govt. of India with a 175-bedded Ayurvedic Hospital at Manipal.
• Ph.D. studies for 3 subjects – Kayachikitsa, Shalya Tantra, Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana.
• Under-graduate course in Yoga and Naturopathy.
• Muniyal Ayurveda Family Clinics at Udupi,Mangaluru and Bengaluru .
• License for 95 proprietary, human and veterinary research products, and 155 classical ayurvedic products. Toxicity studies of all the above products have been done.
• All products have been duly registered with the Drug Licensing Authority, Dept. of AYUSH, Karnataka, with GMP Certification for its medicine manufacturing unit.
• 20 research products like Insol-N, Herbotrim, Heartogen, Muneks, Muniojus, etc. are duly registered with Patent & Trademark Registration Office of Govt. of India.
• 15 lines of treatment like Mahoshadha Kalpa, Madumeha Kalpa, etc. and unique processes like Vrkshved, Dravyashudh and Vamshvahini are duly registered with Patent and Trademark Registration Office of Govt. of India.
• 2 products namely MUNIPYRIN for arthritis and HERBADICT for alcohol and drug addiction, have been registered in Europe as para-medicines, being the first ayurvedic medicines from India to have this distinction.
• Developed and donated sacred herbal gardens.
• Both Muniyal Ayurvedic Research Centre and Dr. Krshna Life Sciences Ltd. have Facility Registration Certificate under US FDA.
• US Patent granted for our line of treatment for Cancer (Mahoshadha Kalpa).
• 9 US Patents for our products:- 2 patents each for Muneks – a cancer product and Muniprabhaa Plus – for renal disorders, and 1 patent each for Insol-N – for diabetes, Heartogen – a cardio-protective, Munibeyotic Plus – an immunity booster anti-viral drug, Herbotrim – for metabolic disorders, and Hiranyapraash – a natural rejuvenative with the power of gold
